We are pleased to announce that the Mesa County Libraries 970West Studio will open to the public with a series of orientation sessions on Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 4 and 5.

Anyone who wishes to use the 970West Studio must first complete an orientation session that covers basic rules, equipment, and other general information about the studio.

  • Orientation sessions are open on a walk-in basis every hour on the hour from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4 (last session begins at 4 p.m.), and from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5 (last session begins at 7 p.m.). The studio is located at Fifth Street and Ouray Avenue, across from the Central Library.
  • Because of space limitations, orientation sessions will be limited to approximately 10 participants each and will be open on a first-come, first-served walk-in basis.

After you finish your orientation session, you will be eligible to book studio time.

Studio reservations will begin Wednesday, Jan. 6. To make a reservation, call Mesa County Libraries Technology Services at 970-243-4442, fill out a Reservation and Use Agreement, and submit it to library staff. Then, library staff will work with you to reserve studio time. (The studio will be open and available by reservation only.)
