Library text messaging will change in January 2017

Mesa County Libraries’ text messaging service for notifying patrons about the status of library materials will change during the first week of January 2017.

A new service provider, Shoutbomb, will operate the text messaging service for the library beginning in January.

The new service will let you receive text message notifications for overdue items and book renewals, and you will be able to use text to request information about your current checkouts, holds, and fines. You can expect a larger volume of text messages with this service.

More information about how the new service operates is available on our website.
