Drum Safari comes to Mesa County Libraries June 27-29

Get ready for a variety of great summer entertainment through mid-July as we celebrate the halfway point of Summer Reading at Mesa County Libraries!

Beginning Tuesday, June 27, join us for several performances by Drum Safari, a local favorite whose interactive and energetic drum performances attract more fans every year as they perform at library locations and the Downtown Farmers’ Market in Grand Junction.

Here is Drum Safari’s schedule:

  • 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, Palisade Branch
  • 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, Fruita Branch
  • 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, Central Library
  • 10 a.m. Thursday, June 29, Clifton Branch
  • 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 29, Downtown Grand Junction Farmers’ Market


Hold on, there’s more! Mr. Kneel, a fun and inventive performer of kids’ hiphop music, visits Mesa County for several performances July 6 and 7.

Here is Mr. Kneel’s schedule:

  • 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 6, Downtown Grand Junction Farmers’ Market
  • 10 a.m. Friday, July 7, Orchard Mesa Branch
