World Wide Knit in Public Day is Saturday, June 10

Imagine the needles of every knitter in the world, working at the same time. It will happen Saturday, June 10, and local knitters are invited to take part.

Join us for World Wide Knit in Public Day, the largest knitter-run event in the world, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2017, outside The Craft Studio and Yarn Shop, 634 Main St. in Grand Junction.

World Wide Knit in Public Day is a day for knitters and other practitioners of fiber arts to gather and celebrate their craft, and for new hobbyists to join them. The event is not exclusive to knitters – everyone who has a fiber project is welcome.

There is no charge to participate. Simply bring your project and your materials.

Mesa County Libraries and The Craft Studio and Yarn Shop are cohosting World Wide Knit in Public Day.
