Teen Reviews: The Book Thief & The Fault in Our Stars

Both of these reviews come from Kaya, Grade 11:

Zusak, Markus. The Book Thief.

When reading this book reality really gives you a slap in the face. It really opens your eyes to the world around you and takes you on a roller coaster of emotions. It gives you just a glimpse of what the world looked like under Hitlers reign.

Green, John. The Fault in Our Stars.

If you don’t like crying I would suggest not reading this book. But if you’ve got your tissues handy and are ready for a good heart throb I would highly recommend this book. It’s a great story of how cancer patients cope with life.
