Book Donations
Donations for the bookstore or book racks are not accepted at the library locations. Friends gratefully receive donations at the First Congregational Church at 1425 N. 5th St— across from the former Grand Junction High School. Volunteers staff the donation center on Mondays and Thursdays 10am-12pm. A weatherproof container located on the northwest corner of the parking lot is available 24/7 for donations. Please NO Encyclopedias or Magazines. There is a magazine exchange on the upper level of the Central Library (near the Nonfiction desk) where unwanted magazines can be dropped off and exchanged. Please take as many as you like! Additionally, please remove mailing labels from magazines (if applicable) before donating for security reasons. For questions about donations, please call Betty at 970-623-9255. Thank you for your donations and support of Mesa County Libraries! If you’d like to make a monetary donation, please see our Mesa County Libraries Foundation page.
