You might have noticed by now that our One Book choice, Can’t We Talk about Something More Pleasant? by Roz Chast is not like any previous selection. Our Movie Series Sunday is shaking up it’s format also. Join us on Sunday the 1st at 1:30pm at the Central Library to look deeper into the lives and processes of that special category of artist–the cartooner. Instead of a feature film, we’ll treat the audience to four short documentary films. The films will be introduced by Dr. Barry Laga who instructs Introduction to Film at Colorado Mesa University. We’ll gain insights from Bob Mankoff, The New Yorker cartoon editor, and see a preview of a film in development featuring Roz Chast.
