En los primeros tres días fríos de noviembre, una multitud de personas va a los cementerios para apreciar a los miembros de su familia que han fallecido. Las multitudes dejan ofrendas, velas, pan de muerto y caléndulas para honrar a las personas que extrañan y aún aman. Al hacer esto, se dice que ayudan a sus seres queridos a continuar su viaje espiritual.
La biblioteca está organizando un maravilloso evento latinoamericano, Día de los muertos, el 2 de noviembre, de 2 a 5 p.m. Ven a disfrutar de nuestro increíble evento escuchando historias de autores que han fallecido, juegos divertidos de calavera y la película conmovedora, de Pixar, Coco. Después, todos tendremos la oportunidad de decorar nuestros propios altares con manualidades y otras actividades muy divertidas.

On the first three chilly November days, crowds of people go to cemeteries to cherish their family members who have passed. The crowds leave offerings, candles, bread for the dead, and marigolds in order to honor the people they miss and still love. Doing this, it’s said to help their loved ones continue their spiritual journey.
The library is hosting the wonderful Latin American event, Día de los muertos on the 2nd of November from 2-5 PM. Come enjoy our amazing event by hearing stories from authors who have passed away, playing fun calavera games, and watching the touching Pixar movie Coco. Afterwards, we will all be able to decorate our very own alters with some fun crafts and activities.
