Mesa County Libraries have been notified that a staff member who does not work directly with the public has tested positive for the novel coronavirus, COVID-19.
The staff member is isolating, and the library has worked with Mesa County Public Health to identify other library staff who may have come in contact with the affected employee. Those individuals will be asked to follow Mesa County Public Health directives.
As we have throughout the pandemic, Mesa County Libraries are working closely with Mesa County Public Health and will follow recommended procedures to protect the health of staff and patrons.
