PANEL PROPOSALS

A popular part of every MCL Comic Con is the lineup of panel discussions, activities, and presentations. We are looking for great panels covering just about any Comic Con topic you can imagine. Some examples include comics, anime, sci-fi, fantasy, games, representation, cosplay, literature, film making, and art demonstrations.

Only a limited number of programs will be accepted, and panel applicants are asked to develop, research, and plan their idea carefully and professionally. All panels must be 60 minutes in length.

Panel proposals are due by July 12th, 2025. For more information about panels and submissions, please visit https://mesacountylibraries.org/comiccon/#panels.

ABOUT MESA COUNTY LIBRARIES COMIC CON

Since the library’s first Comic Con in spring 2015, this highly anticipated event has grown to attract more than 5,000 attendees annually from across the Western Slope. Highlighting graphic literature, sequential art, and comics as a literary medium, Comic Con includes an Expo Hall featuring local and regional artists, authors, cosplayers, crafters, and media creators. Panel presentations give attendees an opportunity to deep-dive into topics of interest; fandom meetups provide opportunities to discuss favorite characters and meet others with similar passions; and everyone can take part in cosplay, photo ops, and cosplay contests.
