The Mesa County Libraries Clifton Branch, 3270 D 1/2 Road, will be closed to visitors Thursday-Saturday, Oct. 19-21, for installation of a second HVAC unit on the building.
For patrons who would like to pick up holds, the drive-through window on the south side of the building will be open during the closure. The drive-through’s hours during that time will be 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19; 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20; and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21.
The new library building, which opened in late August, has one permanent HVAC unit already installed, but a second unit was delayed by supply-chain issues. The second unit has been delivered and will be installed during the closure. The building was able to open with the installation of a temporary HVAC unit.
HVAC units supply heating, ventilation, and air conditioning to the building.
The branch is expected to resume regular hours and operations Monday, Oct. 23.
