Limited mobility doesn’t have to mean the end of your gardening days. An upcoming presentation titled “Gardening for Seniors: Making Gardening Easy and Enjoyable” will explore clever equipment, modifications to existing gardens, and a few outside-the-box gardens that can help you keep your green thumb.
The presentation is set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at the Mesa County Libraries Central Library, 443 N. 6th St. The presenter will be Kathy Kimbrough, a trained CSU Master Gardener and owner of Garden Scentsations, a garden coaching and design business. She is a freelance garden writer and speaker who specializes in gardening challenges and successes in the high desert climate of western Colorado.
“Gardening for Seniors: Making Gardening Easy and Enjoyable” is open to the public at no charge. Space is limited.
