Neither clouds nor rain nor chill of morn could stop Mesa County Libraries staff from participating in the annual Bike to Work Day on Wednesday.
Twenty-eight staff members pedaled in to work at library locations around the county, celebrating the use of bicycles for transportation, health, and fun! We at Mesa County Libraries extend our thanks not only to our staff who rode, but to everyone in the community who chose pedal power to get to work Wednesday.
Bike to Work Day is part of Grand Valley Bike Month 2019, which takes place throughout May and encourages Mesa County residents to ride bikes as a viable alternative to driving cars, thus reducing road congestion, improving air quality, and benefiting riders’ health.
