A wine launch party is scheduled 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2019, at Grande River Vineyards, 787 N. Elberta Ave. in Palisade, just off I-70 Exit 42. The launch party is open to the public, and admission is free.

The Grape Gatsby is the second specially branded wine to bear the Foundation’s name. Well Read, a red table wine, was launched last year. Both wines are produced and bottled by Grande River Vineyards, and both will be available for tasting and purchase at the June 6 launch party.

A portion of the sale price of each bottle of The Grape Gatsby and Well Read will benefit the Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that raises funds to benefit Mesa County Libraries. The Foundation supports capital projects, special events, and other special projects of the library.

“The Grape Gatsby is the perfect complement to Well Read, which has proven to be enormously popular with library supporters and wine enthusiasts since its release last year,” said Jane Fine Foster, president of the Mesa County Libraries Foundation. “The addition of a white wine to the Foundation’s lineup means that there’s an excellent library-related wine available for any occasion, and our hope is that the wines serve as a unique way to start conversations about the library’s importance to Mesa County residents.”

Both The Grape Gatsby and Well Read will be available for purchase at Grande River Vineyards and Fisher’s Liquor Barn.
