Kids Read Picks, Vol. 7

Kids Read Picks presents book reviews and recommendations from kids in Mesa County. Don’t be surprised if you can’t find some of these books at the library or in stores: kids who attend Kids Read Book Club on Tuesdays at 4:00 at the Central Library have access to books before they are officially published.

“Field tripped is about a girl’s class is going to the mansion from the founder of their town but the class makes a bet for who finders his inventions but the fixer says their is no inventions the class says their must be a door but nowhere to be found a mystery.”

“Its a really good book 📚 Scarlett Hart hunts monsters. She goes on a awesome adventure.”

Preller, James. The Big Idea Gang: Worst Mascot Ever.

“The big idea gang was a cool book but I would not recommend it for everyone to read because I don’t think its a good book to read and I understand why people read the book and it was not immediately clear to me that is why I don’t like it.”

Sichol, Lowey Bundy. From an Idea to Disney.

“This book was really interesting, and it answered all of my questions about Disney’s history. Not only did it answer my questions, it gave me more background knowledge such as Mickey Mouses first name. Mortimer. What I liked the most about this book is that it kept me reading it. ”
