Four branches of Mesa County Libraries will close to public visits after Saturday, Nov. 14, due to pandemic-related restrictions.
The branches will be closed until further notice, and the library will offer alternatives for delivery of materials to patrons.
- The Collbran, De Beque, and Orchard Mesa branches will close to public visits after Nov. 14 until further notice. The branches will continue to offer Curbside Pick-Up service during regular library hours starting the week of Nov. 16. - The Gateway Branch will close to public visits after Nov. 14 until further notice. Gateway-area residents may use the library’s Books by Mail service to receive materials. For information about that service, please call the Fruita Branch at 970-858-7703.
- All other library locations remain open to public visits with capacity limits and other previously announced limits on hours, study rooms, public computers, and other services. Curbside Pick-Up service is available at the Central Library and branches in Clifton, Fruita, and Palisade, and patrons can get book recommendations and place holds by calling 243-4442.
Library officials continue to evaluate conditions and monitor restrictions announced by Mesa County Public Health.
