When technology advances in leaps and bounds, we can often feel overwhelmed when we need to print or send documents by email or fax. Fortunately, Mesa County Libraries offer these services! Printing can be done from your device or our computers, has an affordable price, and scanning documents to email is completely free. Scanning documents eliminates the need for paper, toner, and phone lines; all documents can be converted into digital files and transmitted over the internet securely and reliably.
Although we don’t have a physical fax machine, there is a free service that you can use to send a limited number of faxed pages from the comfort of your home via the web service Got Free Fax. You can normally fax up to 3 pages for free at their website, but they offer libraries a link that allows for 10 pages per fax, up to 5 times per day via the Got Free Fax library link.
This handout provides instructions on how to use this service. You can also explore our computer, technology, and printing services page to learn more about these and other important resources.
