Thank you, library volunteers!

Graphic: Mesa County Libraries logoDuring this National Volunteer Appreciation Week, Mesa County Libraries wish to thank all of the volunteers who generously give their time to our local libraries.

Last year, more than 270 volunteers gave almost 11,000 hours of their time to the library. Our volunteers work at all eight library locations, performing a wide variety of tasks. They work as tutors in the Adult Learning Center; help maintain the Discovery Garden; assist with large events such as Summer Reading, Comic Con, and Culture Fest; help children read through the Dog Ears program; assist us with maintaining the collection; raise funds for the library through book sales; provide leadership as members of the library Board of Trustees and the library Foundation Board, and so much more.

We appreciate everyone who shows through their volunteer efforts that they care about Mesa County Libraries and the community in which they live.

Thank you so much. We appreciate you.
